When You Try To Be All Things to All People, You Become Nothing to Everybody
It takes courage to turn away a paying customer. But sometimes that is what you should do.
Let's say you have a business that repairs car brakes. You have three mechanics who work for you. One of them is a master mechanic. He can do just about anything. Someone comes into your shop and asks you to repair his muffler. You could use the business, so you take the job.
Fast-forward one year and you have become a regular auto repair shop with no unique selling proposition. You are plenty busy, but you are not making nearly the profit you projected.
What happened?
By generalizing, you gave up three significant advantages:
* You lost the overhead savings that come from doing only one thing.
* You went from a business that had a memorable purpose to something very ordinary and forgettable.
* You gave up the high profit margins that come from specializing in one product or service.
MacDonald's sells several dozen products today. But when Roy Kroc took it over, he focused on hamburgers and fries. If he had succumbed to the temptation of turning his restaurant into a diner, he would have become just another diner owner instead of one of the most successful restaurateurs in American history.

The Relaxation Technique That Eases Stress in Seconds
You're stuck in a boring meeting... a long line at the bank... or bumper-to-bumper traffic. Your blood pressure is rising.
But with one unconventional (and often misunderstood) technique, your frustration, anxiety, and stress simply slip away. You'll feel peaceful, in control, and happy within seconds. Any time. Anywhere.

Earning money? No problem!
Looking Forward. By this I mean brainstorming about what the market will want in the future. Forward thinking may be the most enjoyable form of brainstorming. It is certainly the most common. Who doesn't enjoy a conversation about "the way things are heading"?
However, it is rarely productive. For many reasons (some of which are explained in Malcolm Gladwell's The Tipping Point), speculating about future opportunities is a game for amateurs.
Prudent entrepreneurs do some forward planning. But they keep their projections to the near- and medium-term. They know from experience that the biggest moneymaking opportunities are those closest at hand.
I enjoy longer-term speculation as much as the next guy. But I save it for the golf course.
Looking Backward. By this I mean studying past marketing masters. Backward thinking is much more useful forward thinking. Yet it is often neglected by entrepreneurs. That so few marketers today know the "classics" is a pet peeve of Dan Kennedy. He sees it as a form of arrogance. He points out that the greatest marketing secrets are eternal.
The best stuff is buried in those great old ads. Read them. You'll be astonished at how much you learn.
Looking Sideways. By this I mean seeing what your competitors are doing -- and, maybe better, looking at industries outside your own. Sideways thinking is my preferred method for generating ideas. It is also the method most commonly used by successful entrepreneurs. Jay Abraham is a big proponent of this type of brainstorming. In Getting Everything You Can Out of All You've Got, he says:
"You probably spend too little time studying the most successful, innovative, and profitable ideas people in other industries use to grow and prosper.
"Yet, if you start focusing on other industries' success practices, you'll be amazed at how easily you can adapt these ideas to your own business situation. Suddenly, you'll see significantly better results from the same time, manpower, effort, activity, and capital."
There is a fourth direction that master marketers look in. And that is inward, to try to understand the core emotions of their prospects.
So I lied. There are four directions, not three. Sue me.
Seriously, if you want a recipe for generating ideas, I'd suggest the following:
* One cup of forward-looking brainstorming
* Three cups of backward research
* Five cups of looking sideways
* One cup of looking inward
That's the recipe. Use it and prosper.

Just an old hint + reminder, but huge
- Write your goals on goal cards (a peace of paper you can keep with you all day long)
- Study this blog and find out what can keep you from doing what you want to do and what can help you to overcome these obstacles...
- Start learning and searching for this kind of information and try to find a mentor
- when you see results in your life start to understand why did they happen and if you can keep teaching this peace of information, that you already understand and use, to others...
- Introduce your good friend who won't laugh about you and might even be just as keen on living his dreams as you are, to this blog and work together. (masterminding can do wonders in accelerating your learning)
- Follow suggestions how to accomplish your goals and how to look at them and you will master your life.
Keep up the good work and start working with your selves!

The Forgiveness Option
interests to consult, no regrets, and no mistakes. You don’t have to stop and scratch or figure
anything out. There is no karmic consequence. You just react: stimulus and response,
fight or flee, eat or be eaten, survive or pass away. You may find this sort of instinctive existence
attractive —at least until it comes your turn to be eaten.
In contrast, intelligent creatures have to make decisions and live with the consequence of
those decisions. Intelligence means controlling emotions, or discovering the best option, or
making choices based on potential consequences.
Making decisions is the essence of personal responsibility; it can feel like freedom or
weigh you down with guilt, sadness, or anger. One of the toughest decisions that an intelligent
creature ever has to make is the decision to forgive.
This fifth in a series of Avatar mini-courses explores the consequences and the process of
forgiveness.
The mini-courses are available as a free download from AvatarEPC.com or from your
local Avatar Master.

The world didn’t start yesterday,
and it won’t end tomorrow.
It moves inexorably forward;
not a single day can be
lived over. Mostly we drift
with the flow of ill-conceived
destinies—a mixture of
demands from the past, expectations
from others, and the
weary inertia of our own
fatigue. Many of the events
that we encounter can neither
be changed nor avoided; they
have multiple causes that
branch backward in time. What
appear as free-will choices may
only be the culmination of our
indoctrination and preceding
causes. On rare occasions, life
offers us the opportunity to
rise above the chains of causes
and effects, and for a moment,
as an Avatar source being, to
determine the direction of future
events. Forgiveness is such an
opportunity.

Story: "This is Good"
One day the king and his friend were out on a hunting expedition. The friend would load and prepare the guns for the king. The friend had apparently done something wrong in preparing one of the guns, for after taking the gun from his friend, the king fired it and his thumb was blown off. Examining the situation, the friend remarked as usual, "This is good!"
To which the king replied - "No, this is not good!" and proceeded to send his friend to jail.
About a year later, the king was hunting in an area that he should have known to stay clear of. Cannibals captured him and took him to their village. They tied his hands, stacked some wood, set up a stake and bound him to the stake.
As they came near to set fire to the wood, they noticed that the king was missing a thumb. Being superstitious, they never ate anyone who was less than whole. So untying the king, they sent him on his way.
As he returned home, he was reminded of the event that had taken his thumb and felt remorse for his treatment of his friend. He went immediately to the jail to speak with his friend.
"You were right," he said, "it was good that my thumb was blown off." And he proceeded to tell the friend all that had just happened." And so, I am very sorry for sending you to jail for so long. It was bad for me to do this."
"No," his friend replied, "This is good!"
"What do you mean, 'This is good'? How could it be good that I sent my friend to jail for a year?"
"If I had not been in jail, I would have been with you, and not here with you right now."
In a very unusual way, the message here unfolds into exposing the following principle about life.
"Absolutely everything happens for a purpose; and out of what seems like adversity at the time; always comes good".
I'm sure that if any of us care to reflect back on the tragedy's, the heartaches, the 'bad times' in our lives, that we discover that we have really grown or developed during that period of time:even though the reflection may still cause us discomfort in some way.
It is in this way that we slowly gather experience and wisdom, and even though we may think or feel that it is unfair, that's the way it is.
"This is good". Many of our life's experiences have saved us from some form of cannibals; it's just that we often don't know that they have at the time.
So, for a simple example to help with awareness: next time you may begin to feel you are being 'wronged' by being stuck in a traffic jam, think about the cannibals that could be lurking down the road a bit,but will be gone by the time you get there.
Now that's a bit different, but worth trying: "this is good" - despite the circumstances.
Remember: "What others do or say is their stuff; how we react, or not, is our stuff"!
And: "True Happiness in life isn't having what you want, but wanting what you have"!

10 Ways to Package Your Expertise for Maximum Profits
by Robert Greenshields
If you want to make the most of your expertise, you have to make sure that your income does not depend on how many hours you work.
No matter how high your hourly rate, you can only work a limited number of hours and you can only be in one place at a time.
So, in order to make more profit, you need to find a way to package your expertise so that others will pay for it without you having to be there in person.
How to package your expertise
Once you have decided how best to position your expertise, here are some of the main ways you can package it for maximum profit:
- Write a printed book: Imagine you meet two consultants at a convention. One hands you a business card, the other gives you a signed copy of his book. Which one is likely to win more clients and charge higher fees? There’s no doubt that people who have written books have instant authority status. Yet, with on-demand publishing, it’s now quite easy for anyone to do this.
- Write an ebook: For people not ready to produce a published book, there is a faster option of producing a ebook for sale online as an instant download. Ebooks are very fast to produce and are usually much shorter than printed books. However, because of the instant access – and usually because other bonuses are added to the purchase, the sales price is often much higher.
- Audio and video programs: Technology now makes it very easy to produce an audio or video delivering valuable information, either as a special recording or as a recording of an existing event. These can be quickly packaged and sold at relatively high prices, either as an instant download or by mail using low-cost fulfillment services.
- Membership sites and online courses: Another way of delivering information is through subscription-based membership websites or online courses dealing with a specific topic.
- Advertising revenue: Revenue can also be generated through advertising on a website or blog. Although the income here may be much less than for the other types of product, it can be an attractive source of extra revenue.
- Coaching programs: Books, audio and video typically provide information in a very general way so there is often demand from people for personal advice on how to apply the information to their own situation. This opens the demand for coaching which can be delivered online, by telephone and in person.
- Seminars and workshops: Personal coaching is typically only delivered to one person at a time but seminars and workshops are a method of delivering the same information quickly to a much larger group. While the revenue per head may be lower for this approach, the large numbers of people that can be covered make it very attractive.
- Training programs: Some organizations may want the expertise delivered to larger groups of people in an interactive way through training programs and will pay significant fees to have this done.
- Consultancy: Often people are looking not just for information but they want specific solutions for exactly how they should apply the information to their own situation. This can open up opportunities for very significant fees.
- Franchising to others: If you can structure your expertise so that it is easily turned into a system and taught to others, you have the opportunity to license them to deliver it without your presence, leading to the prospect of licensing fees and other revenue.
You won’t maximize your income just by creating a $50 ebook. But equally running a few high-ticket seminars will not give you the best possible income either.
You probably won’t use all of these techniques but the secret is to find the right mix of different ways of packaging your expertise in multiple ways to deliver maximum profit.
Many of them will work well together. Someone attending one of your seminars may buy a book or audio product and then later return for consultancy or coaching.
The choice of which is appropriate will depend on your personal skills and preferences and the market demand. This and much more you can find in here... Information taken from http://mindpowermarketing.com

New material about things we don't even believe, but we should!
See I never believed that I could acquire things I really wanted and they would (in time of course) become a reality for me. If I should wish for something and it would happen, then everyone would have their perfect lives. But still they don't so how do I acquire it? This was a grate question for my mind for a long period of time... I couldn't just figure out a way I could acquire what I really wanted. That sounds so foolish to me now, when I have learned, that you do not have to know how you are going to do it and how it's going to come about... You just have to know that you are going to acquire it and that's it! It is as simple as that! No woo-doo tricks or other knickknack... You just learn how to operate with your mind and that will make you tons of riches! (Remember, that money is the last and logical result of being rich!).
Anyway back to the story. I never believed, that I could acquire more money in the same job I'm working in and I never believed, that I could earn money in my own company where I did what I really wanted namely web developing. I thought that I have to find something I would like doing too and started to look around. And exactly then I started to receive orders to make this and that homepage and such a script and so on... I didn't realize what and why it was happening. So most of the orders disappeared as quickly as they came to me. Then came the last one, that changed my way of thinking and my beliefs.
I received an order to create a small and easy to make web application, that would be needed for a while until the new system arrives... I started working on it and things started to happen. I made up with some enemies I had earned at work. I even learned something new about programming I didn't know before. I gave my best (in fact I haven't even finished that project, because it has grown to a huge project) and I'm going to keep giving my best to make this project to work. But the best thing is, that I received not only an order to create such a thing, but I got me a new job, that I could easily connect with my current job and earn almost 1,5 times more than I did before. So that has increased my wage starting the next month from ~400$ to ~ 600$ just like that.
And the thing is, that I'm receiving this extra money because I'm doing what I really love doing - creating web applications. That thought me, that there is a difference between wishing for things and really being ready to receive them.
So again here is the golden formula every one who has achieved anything will tell you.
- Decide what you want
- Write it on a peace of paper and read it out loud as often as possible
- Decide what you love to do and gives other some value
- Believe that you can acquire it and really get emotionally involved with the thought and try to visualize the positive end result.
- Keep doing this every day and don’t quit!
- To shift your energy and make things happen even faster, you have to flood you mind with positive thoughts. The easiest way to do so is to just think about the opposite of all the negative thoughts that ever come to your mind for what ever reason and keep thinking about the things you already are thankful for. Because this makes your mind to be in a higher vibration, that is extremely positive and loads you with pure powerful energy, that now can manifest into whatever you want to receive.
Remember! You can do it, just believe you can and start acting upon your inspired thinking!

Problem with people who use your pocket?
There is another sort of people who use others. They just need the other person to give them money and they are willing to almost anything to get the bit of cash from you. In such cases you should set up a bookkeeping how much did they got from you and then you could send them a bill showing that you ask the money back and you were so kind not to sum the fee for the credit... But in that way you might not only not get anything back, you might even loose a good friend. So here is what I suggest you do. Never give them any of your money just like that. Help them earn it! If you don't have a company or you can't in any way give them a job, at least make them take out your garbage, so that they get used to earning your help, your money, your smile, to learn that for everything you have to pay, and money is not the only way to pay for things... Usually if they are just creatures of sucking and keep sucking the money out of you, they are not really friends and if you do as I suggest, then they won't keep in contact with you at all any more... Remember you are not a charity institution, you are a person who is learning how to control your life, your income, your results, your feelings and how to communicate with the world better, but that doesn't mean, that you have to allow others to inflict any kind of damage to you in any way.
Another (harder, but better) way to get rid of such kind of people is to point out the things you really like in them in your mind and actually to them in words. The result will be stunning. They will mostly become to you what you perceive them to be, and if they are not in the same thought (vibration) as you are, the universe will not set you in the same time space. They will "zig" while you "zag"... They will not be available or you will be out with your friends, probably telling them what a nice person that parasite is... The goal is to direct positive thoughts and energy to you as much as possible and that will keep you away from the bad side of that person. You see everything has 2 or even more sides. You choose at which side to look. It's best to choose to see only the good, because that gives energy to the good side of anything or anyone you look at and leaves less for the negative side of it...
Keep up the good work and don't forget - the things you train most will become stronger and those you don't use will die in you. So stop training beliefs like "I can't do it. I'm not sure if I can. I'm just not cut out for this." and start training beliefs, that implicate the opposite of it! Your mind makes things real!

What do I do if I'm worried?
Well first of all remember that everything in the world goes by a law and no other way. If x then y. A simple but hard to get idea. Every thing you say, feel and think has huge power in your reality (your life). If you think about your surgery or your last exam with worry, then most likely you won't get good results or you might even hear some bad news. In that kind of situation you just have to understand, that anything, that can be said to you about your status is a way of looking back in your past and see what you have been thinking a week, a month or even a year ago. It's never the current reality. The results you keep getting are the results of the person you where not who you are now. We all understand that if we are good, people will tend to be good to us. Why don't we get that if you keep thinking good thoughts and keep seeking for the opposite of the negative thoughts in your mind - we get rewarded. And I mean richly rewarded! Worry is for self destructing people who don't know better and are ignorant of the laws of the universe. We all consist of 1 thing - energy. We all are the same. And yes I mean black, white and whatever color people we all are the same! The body is our temple and it looks, feels and is as we think of it and how we take care of it not only physically, but mentally too. Your physical body needs food. Your mind needs positive food too! So stop poisoning your mind with negative thoughts and start fantasizing about the opposite of every of your worry! I guarantee you will not only feel better, but the results you will start getting in life by doing the things you want and did all the time, will be astonishing. Your life is not a game! Start acting upon your good thoughts and kill the bad thoughts with finding the opposite of them. There is a grate law - the law of polarity. It tells us, that everything, that has a beginning has an ending and every bad thought has a good thought etc. Understand that you are in charge of your own life! You have to take responsibility about your thoughts actions and your health as a result! If you have any questions please feel free to ask and I will try to answer them in my next posts!

The six higher faculties of the mind
The six higher faculties of the mind are:
- Perception
- The will
- Memory
- Imagination
- Reason
- Intuition
These are very powerful tools. They give you dominion over your world. They separate you from the rest of the animal kingdom. They help you live from the inside out rather than the outside in.
They are also referred to as mental muscles. Most of us have neglected these tools for far too long and that explains why we live a life of misery.
Train each of them for at least 3 - 5 months and you will feel and see the difference in your life! Just give it a try. All your higher faculties are perfect, they just need training!

How to Get More Done in Much Less Time
By Derek Franklin / Creator of The Action Machine
If you give me just a few minutes of your time, I promise to deliver back to you much more in return.
In just a moment I'm going to reveal to you a simple system you can begin using right now (yes, I give you everything).
This system will allow you to easily re-capture more hours in your day, more days in your week, and even more weeks in your year.
It's the perfect solution for you if you regularly find yourself looking back at at your life wondering what in the world happened to all your time, and why you have very few results to show for it.
It's going to help you take care of all the things you have to do on a regular basis, from the small stuff like checking email and reading the news, to the more important tasks, like building your business and spending quality time with your family.
It's so effective, I recently used it to take an idea from my initial thought about it to a complete ready-to-install software product in only 5 days.
Better yet, I still had plenty of time to eat 3 meals a day (or more), get plenty of sleep, watch all my favorite TV shows, hang out with my friends, and generally do what I normally do.
In other words, it turned me into an action machine!
So, If you're ready to learn it...
Here's The Simple 3-Step System to Getting Things Done:
1. Write down all the things you want to get done for the day. Everything from writing, creating content, or planning your next project to answering your email and balancing your checkbook.
2. Assign a specific time to each task or group of tasks. Anything from 15 minutes to 2 hours. Chunks of 30 minutes or less work best.
3. Select a task, start a timer (like an egg time), and focus on nothing but accomplishing that task. This means you don't answer the phone, you don't get up for a drink, you don't log onto Facebook - none of that. You remain focused on the task-at-hand!
If you practice these three simple steps regularly, it will totally revolutionize the way you get things done in your life - guaranteed!
It's as if it awakens an unstoppable force inside you that's been asleep for way too long.
Take a look at them again, then take 30 seconds and allow the structure and purpose behind these three steps to sink in. You'll instinctively see the genius in the system.
I can say this without sounding like I'm bragging, because I didn't develop it, I'm just a true-believer in it.
Now, I can probably guess your next question...
Why Does It Work So Well?
I'm no psychologist, so I can't tell you for certain why this system works, but I can share with you what effect using it has on my brain in order to almost force it to want to take action on a consistent basis.
It boils down to fact that it uses these three key elements:
* An end-result or goal (each of your daily tasks) - Our brains love goals, big or small, because they're built to be goal-seeking machines. Give your brain a goal, and it immediately goes to work finding ways to achieve it.
* A specific timeframe or deadline (the time you assign each task) - Once your brain has a goal, a deadline is the fuel that motivates it act! The shorter the deadline, the more revved up your brain gets.
* Believability (the order and structure of the system) - Instead surrendering yourself to lackluster results because you see your day as an overwhelming, uncontrollable mess, this system breaks your day down into small, manageable pieces that you actually see yourself getting done with ease. When you believe you can, you will!
When these three elements are brought together, the synergy totally transforms the way you psychologically and emotionally look at all the things you have to do.
So much so, that after you've used it for a while, you almost feel yourself getting addicted to taking action.
I don't know about you, but that's a habit I can definitely live with!

Keep up the good work and don't expect to get "lucky" and be happy, instead start being happy and you will get "lucky". Luck is just series of properly made decisions for the future, that are paying them selves. Every time you follow your heart you make one such decision. So start building your "luck".
