The six higher faculties of the mind

The six higher faculties of the mind are:

  1. Perception
  2. The will
  3. Memory
  4. Imagination
  5. Reason
  6. Intuition

These are very powerful tools. They give you dominion over your world. They separate you from the rest of the animal kingdom. They help you live from the inside out rather than the outside in.

They are also referred to as mental muscles. Most of us have neglected these tools for far too long and that explains why we live a life of misery.

Train each of them for at least 3 - 5 months and you will feel and see the difference in your life! Just give it a try. All your higher faculties are perfect, they just need training!

How to Get More Done in Much Less Time

Very useful information in connection with the sense of urgency! Sink this into your marvelous mind!

By Derek Franklin / Creator of The Action Machine

If you give me just a few minutes of your time, I promise to deliver back to you much more in return.

In just a moment I'm going to reveal to you a simple system you can begin using right now (yes, I give you everything).

This system will allow you to easily re-capture more hours in your day, more days in your week, and even more weeks in your year.

It's the perfect solution for you if you regularly find yourself looking back at at your life wondering what in the world happened to all your time, and why you have very few results to show for it.

It's going to help you take care of all the things you have to do on a regular basis, from the small stuff like checking email and reading the news, to the more important tasks, like building your business and spending quality time with your family.

It's so effective, I recently used it to take an idea from my initial thought about it to a complete ready-to-install software product in only 5 days.

Better yet, I still had plenty of time to eat 3 meals a day (or more), get plenty of sleep, watch all my favorite TV shows, hang out with my friends, and generally do what I normally do.

In other words, it turned me into an action machine!

So, If you're ready to learn it...

Here's The Simple 3-Step System to Getting Things Done:

1. Write down all the things you want to get done for the day. Everything from writing, creating content, or planning your next project to answering your email and balancing your checkbook.

2. Assign a specific time to each task or group of tasks. Anything from 15 minutes to 2 hours. Chunks of 30 minutes or less work best.

3. Select a task, start a timer (like an egg time), and focus on nothing but accomplishing that task. This means you don't answer the phone, you don't get up for a drink, you don't log onto Facebook - none of that. You remain focused on the task-at-hand!

If you practice these three simple steps regularly, it will totally revolutionize the way you get things done in your life - guaranteed!

It's as if it awakens an unstoppable force inside you that's been asleep for way too long.

Take a look at them again, then take 30 seconds and allow the structure and purpose behind these three steps to sink in. You'll instinctively see the genius in the system.

I can say this without sounding like I'm bragging, because I didn't develop it, I'm just a true-believer in it.

Now, I can probably guess your next question...

Why Does It Work So Well?

I'm no psychologist, so I can't tell you for certain why this system works, but I can share with you what effect using it has on my brain in order to almost force it to want to take action on a consistent basis.

It boils down to fact that it uses these three key elements:

* An end-result or goal (each of your daily tasks) - Our brains love goals, big or small, because they're built to be goal-seeking machines. Give your brain a goal, and it immediately goes to work finding ways to achieve it.

* A specific timeframe or deadline (the time you assign each task) - Once your brain has a goal, a deadline is the fuel that motivates it act! The shorter the deadline, the more revved up your brain gets.

* Believability (the order and structure of the system) - Instead surrendering yourself to lackluster results because you see your day as an overwhelming, uncontrollable mess, this system breaks your day down into small, manageable pieces that you actually see yourself getting done with ease. When you believe you can, you will!

When these three elements are brought together, the synergy totally transforms the way you psychologically and emotionally look at all the things you have to do.

So much so, that after you've used it for a while, you almost feel yourself getting addicted to taking action.

I don't know about you, but that's a habit I can definitely live with!

Sense of urgency

I have a question and some food for thought about the sense of urgency. What is this sense of urgency? Bob Proctor refers to it as an ability to automatically detect those projects or activities, that are goal achieving and be disciplined enough to set your self the goal to fulfill this project or activity as fast as humanly possible without hesitating. And I agree with this, but the key is - how do I develop such an marvelous sense? Can I just start picking projects to fulfill and then hope for better results in my life? I think not... Bob says, that he can teach us how to do it, but what if we don't want to pay money for it, or we can't? After all we can't know if the information we will get is going to help us at all. So paying for the air is not a smart thing to do. So here is what I suggest you do.
  1. Read again the text in bold and try to understand the concept.
  2. Write down on a piece of paper all available projects to you.
  3. Think about every single project as a good project and try to see the good end result if possible.
  4. Filter out the best of all and if possible, participate in all of your top 3 - 5 projects.
Remember, do not participate in more than you can handle. You must provide the participants of the project with your very best services to make it goal achieving!

Try this out and let me know how you succeed by posting comments. For any questions don't hesitate to contact me.

Those in bold I recommend especially.

Keep up the good work and don't expect to get "lucky" and be happy, instead start being happy and you will get "lucky". Luck is just series of properly made decisions for the future, that are paying them selves. Every time you follow your heart you make one such decision. So start building your "luck".

What's the point in helping others?

Many people I have met recently ask me - why do I help others with this blog and not only by writing, but holding conversations and giving real advices in life as well as in cyberspace. Well the answer is very easy. In fact you can read the answer already in my old posts in my blog, but the best way I could express the idea is by quoting Barbara De Angelis (An expert on relationship and love). "Love and kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference. They bless the one who receives them, and they bless you, the giver." I have always experienced goodness in my life when ever I gave others something from my heart. There is one grate law - Energy is. That means if an action is energy, then it can't disappear, because of the law of physics. Energy can not be destroyed and it can move threw and out of form. So it's like virtual money. You can't touch it, but it's there...
Good things, that you do just because you want to are like money savings in your bank account. It will be deposited back to your life account... So don't waste valuable time and start doing things you feel need to be done and help others if you fell like doing that, because it always pays back sooner or later. You can count on that. But the trick is, if you start doing this because of all the wrong reasons (for example - I will help this old man, because someone will help me later on...) you will receive nothing if not lose something, because selfish help is negative energy. remember you can get back more of the same that you deposit in your life savings account, so be care full.

Keep up the good work and remember, You can, You know, You are able...

Get up again and again and again!

The real winners in life are the people who look at every situation with an expectation that they can make it work or make it better.

This quotation made me think about what are we doing with our lives. If it is possible at all to change the way people look at things and help them to see the world with different eyes. This quotation holds the answer to this question. Only those who are willing to make things work or better, can achieve anything in life. Of course there are little successes in each life, but none of them are big enough to talk about - right?
So this brings me to the point where we all have to start thinking about our culture and the para dimes it installs into our minds. It makes us unable to start our own thinking from the beginning. We receive already a certain way of conditional thinking from our parents. The only question standing is, why do we keep following old patterns and old "truths" to achieve success today? It's clear to everyone, that today we have to think in a way no one has ever thought... The world had everyone it had, it never had YOU! Be your self because everyone else is already taken!
It's just a brainstorming about what's happening, but you should consider to thing about this too. And remember: "If you think you can't or you think you can, either way you are right!", so don't let anyone else make changes in your life for you. Do the changes on your own and you will meet the huge rewards coming from doing so.

Keep up the good work and start helping others! It really pays off!
